The Environment

Over a total of 200m², Burgundy by Matthieu offers two comfortable and refined spaces : on the mezzanine level with its deep easy chairs, or in the librairy area opposite the cellar.

Priority is given to space and intimacy.

The natural materials used in the interior decoration are evocative of wine’s own environment : the wood of the vats and the stone walls of the cellar, and the massive beams and traditional French ceilings underline the building’s authenticity.

The eye is ineluctably drawn to what is the centerpiece of the restaurant – a huge expanse of glass behind which some 280 bottles are exposed, offering the labels like so many invitations to exploration…
